Do or Don't? Matching Your Nail Polish to your Jewelry

Here is a look that will take some planning ahead. Do you think matching your nails to your jewelry is a 'Do' or a 'Don't'? Too matchy-matchy or cooly coordinated? I like it!

Get the Look: Chunky Meets Dainty Rings

Lately I've been loving dainty, thin, plain rings.  But my old, tried and true self will always have a weak spot for chunky, stone, statement rings. Can my two loves live harmoniously? This image from my Pinterest proves that it can be done and demonstrates us how we can incorporate both looks on the same hand without it looking too gaudy or mismatched.  Here's how you can recreate the look!

1. Robyn Rhodes Gold and Crystal Sappho Ring, Max & Chloe
2. Aurélie Bidermann18-karat rose gold-dipped lace ring
3. C A T B I R D Mignon Memory Ring, rose gold
4. House of Harlowe 1960 Rose Gold Spike ring
5. Rosette Ring, Vale
6. Gabriela Artigas Single White Diamond Ring
7. Mini Pave Diamond Ring, Ariel Gordon Jewelry

This or That: Evil Eye Jewelry

I have been obsessed with evil eye jewelry since I did this post a few months ago. I am not superstitious in the least, but rather the evil eye is just aesthetically appealing to me. It's usually a dainty piece of jewelry, in either silver or gold, and sometimes includes accents of blue or red. All things that I love!

After searching around for the best of the best evil eye rings, I've narrowed it down to these two. Which one do you like better? The silver version from Catbird or the gold and blue version by Astley Clarke Biography. Let me know in the comments below!

Trend Spotting: Chain Linked Rings

Like tiny handcuffs for your fingers, chain linked rings are popping up everywhere. The look is edgy and sexy so keep your other fingers bare for a look that's decidedly clean and uncomplicated. Styling tip: wear the rings so that that chain lays in the top of your hand.

1. Maison Martin Margiela, Chain Double Ring
2. Ha-Yeon Lee, Double Chain Ring
3. Made Her Think, Double Band Chain Ring Silver
4. Top Shop, Spike Cross Link Ring

6. ASOS, Locksmith Chain Linked Rings
7. Top Shop, Pearl Mix Chain Ring
8. Kabiri, Carnivore Double Ring

Tell me, will you be trying this chain-linked ring trend?

This or That: Stacked Rings vs. Solo Ring

PC: stacked: Atlantic-Pacific Solo: Brooklyn Blonde
Lately I've been loving stacking up my thinner rings, one atop of the other, on the same finger.  If one ring on a finger is good, than two (or three!) is better.  I've found that this works best with thin rings in the a similar metal or color.  So do tell, do you prefer stacked rings or one chunkier solo ring?
