One Look, Three Ways: Convertible Jacket

This convertible jacket by Tart Collections is perfect for damp, fall weather. I wore mine yesterday while getting coffee in the rain with my sweet little family. The fabric is perfect for drizzly, autumnal weather. The best part? The sleeves and hood zip off for an instant style change. Puffy vests are so in style this season.

One Piece, Three Ways: Holiday Edition

The holidays are fast approaching and that means time to start planning outfits and make packing lists! Make it easy on yourself by bringing one great statement piece of jewelry and wear it multiple times throughout the end of December.

You can switch out this Tinely Road necklace for any statement necklace, but this gives you a good idea of how to mix and match statement necklaces for a variety of occasions. I wish I had the Christmas Day outfit lined up for myself! #wishlist

One Piece, Three Ways: Holiday Necklace

The mercury is dropping and it's beginning to at least look like the holidays are just around the corner. Everywhere I look - department stores, coffee shops, book stores - Christmas trees are popping up and red, silver, and gold are sparkling away. For me, the "red cup" at Starbucks signals the official launch of the holidays season, and well, I got one over the weekend.

All of this holiday cheer got me thinking about festive jewelry and accessories.  The necklaces tend to be bigger; the earrings, fancier; and the bracelets, sparklier.

Let's start with the necklaces. Look for a versatile piece that you can wear with a party dress or jeans. Stick with silver or gold or mixed metals. You don't really need to add in color here.  Look for a piece that you wouldn't likely wear in the summer. Think crystals, pearls, and other heavy gems. This Kenneth Cole Urban Glitz Link Necklace from Piperlime is a good example.

One Piece, Three Ways: Geek Chic Glasses

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted glasses. They’re a cool, and often unexpected, accessory that can totally change your look in a flash.  Best example of all time? The Clark Kent effect.

Those of you with eyeglasses are in luck, as “geek chic” is totally in for Fall. I found these dramatic, dark rimmed glasses by Alexander McQueen and immediately started thinking of way I would style these for Fall. That is, if I needed them. Calling my optometrist now...

One Piece, Three Ways: Fall Scarf

I don't know about you, but I tend to think about scarves a lot like jewelry. It's one of my go-to accessories for fall, and if I am wearing a scarf, I don't tend to wear a necklace. So for me, a scarf is a lot like a big, fun, cozy necklace. Since the temperatures will start to drop soon (sigh) I thought I would put together three fall outfits that all look great with a scarf.  If you live in an area where it stays warmer for longer, trade out the scarf for a bunch of thickly layered necklaces or one big statement necklace, like this one.

One Piece, Three Ways: Summer Necklace

I found this bright beaded necklace for sale on Shopbop's website and couldn't help but think how versatile it would be for the summer. And at $29 it's quite the deal. Necklaces have been creeeping up closer and closer to choker length and this one is right on trend. Short, bright, and patterned, you'll be reaching for this summer necklace at the beach, for a barbeque, and on a boat cruise.  The necklace comes in three different colors and I've thrown together three different outfit ideas:

One Piece, Three Ways: Jeweled Headband

There is no better time to wear pretty headband than in the summer. The look is light, keeps your hair off of your face, and is down-right lady-like. When I saw this pretty pink version from ASOS I couldn't help but share.
The details: This hair band is made by ASOS Collection and features a curved band bound with a satin ribbon and large faceted crystals. And at $19.88 USD this little number wont break the bank.

Here is how you can style this headband for three different occasions: for work, as a wedding guest, and meeting the boyfriend's parents.
Get the look!

Jewelry is an investment. That's why it's important to get your money's worth!
