Trend Spotting: Braided Jewelry

There is something about summer that brings out the braids. Think french-braided buns, tiny accent braids sweeping across your crown, and braided jewelry. Friendship bracelets abound in the summer and one of the easiest and quickest ways to work your embroidery thread or chord is to braid it. I found this bright beaded necklace for sale on Shopbop's website and couldn't help but think how versatile it would be for the summer. And at $29 it's quite the deal. Necklaces have been creeeping up closer and closer to choker length and this one is right on trend.
