Best of: The Golden Globes 2014

Ahhh award season is upon us! And Jolie Jouel is back once again to bring you the best jewelry looks from last night's Golden Globe Awards.

A few things of note: rocking one earring is still a thing (Emma Watson), earrings in general were the jewelry stars of the night, and a baby bump is still one of the best accessories you can have (Kerry Washington, Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde).

Who had your favourite look of the night? I loved new-comer and Aussie beauty Margot Robbie, the radiant Kate Beckinsale, and a sparkly and pregnant Olivia Wilde. Honorable mention to Amy Adams' long pendant and Rita's Wilson's mess of tangled necklaces.

Best of: 2013 Academy Awards

The Oscars are the pinnacle of award season fashion and last night the ladies did not disappoint! I for one was glued to my TV watching the 2013 Academy Awards. Best Of: Jewelry from the Golden Globes 2013

The Golden Globes were last night and there was no shortage of colour, sparkle, and glam on the red carpet.  Red was the popular gown colour of choice, there was loads of lace, and earrings were front and centre.

In the jewelry category my favorites were: Megan Fox's long pink earrings, Kate Hudson's melange of Jennifer Meyer rings, and Jessica Alba's sparkly Harry Winston necklace.  And I would be remiss if I didn't mention Sienna Miller rocking the one earring trend! Actually, she had three earrings on one ear, but her other ear was completely bare. This trend is crossing over to the red carpet folks!

Jewelry Round-Up: The 2012 MTV Movie Awards

Sunday night brought out a bevy of pretty faces, short frocks, and bejeweled bodies. Here are the standouts in the jewelry category for the night:

Earrings gave way to rings at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. Simple studs were the jewelry of choice on the red carpet with not much else going on in the ear department. Statement rings on the other hand were front and center and a few stacked bangles also made appearances. Notably missing from the evening? Necklaces.

The Best Jewelry of the MET Gala 2012

The MET Gala always brings out the cream of the crop in terms of gowns, jewels, and celebrities. This year was no exception. While there were dozens of jaw dropping gowns (you can find coverage on dozens of other sites!) I was most interested in the show stopping jewelry. This year the ladies didn't hold back - big earrings, stacked wrists and statement necklaces flooded the red carpet.
