Colour Moment: Chartreuse

Bright colours and neon shades are being ushered in as the temperatures continue to rise. So ditch your greys, taupes, and black in favour of a little splash of colour. One of my favorites is a bright chartreuse. Clumsy name, but this colour gives a sleek and polished look. At the very least we can accent our wardrobe with a little colour, right?!

Neon Necklace Review: Park Lane Jewelry

The lovely Amy from Park Lane Jewelry sent over this bright little gem after seeing this post on neon rhinestone necklaces.  This necklace is nearly identical to #5 in my neon collage...if not the same.

Neon necklaces are perfect for the warmer weather and as we gear up for Spring, it really is the perfect accessory for brightening your day!

If you haven't heard of Park Lane yet, you definitely need to check them out! Amy has her own Facebook page, filled with helpful styling tips and is another great place to place your orders. Amy is a pleasure to work with and very helpful, so if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask her!

Will you be rocking the neon necklace trend this season?

Trend Spotting: Neon + Rhinestone Necklaces

This look is classic meets trendy; colorful meets demure; and ladylike meets street-style. The trend I am talking about is taking the classic rhinestone necklace and adding in bright pops of neon color. This trend has been popping up in many of my favorite stores and offers a fun and modern way to incorporate fancy rhinestones into your day-to-day style. From Tom Binns and Shourouk to American Eagle and Club Monaco, there is a neon rhinestone necklace out there for everyone!

Some of my favorites below!

5. Adia Kibur, Short Neon Stone Necklace
8. Club Monaco, Poppy Crystal Necklace
10. DANNIJO, Capucine

This or That? Neons vs. Neutrals in the Winter

Do you like to tone down your look in the dreary winter months with soothing blush tones, standard metallics, and neutrals? Or do you prefer to combat the winter dull-drums with pops of neon and primary colours? I think both looks are appropriate and fun, depending on your mood. But where do you stand? Neon only in the summer? Or do base metals simply bore you?

Vote on your winter jewelry of choice - neons or neutrals - in the comments below!

Summer Steal

I love a bright statement necklace as much as the next girl, but sometimes it's hard to justify spending hundreds of dollars on something that you'll only wear in one season. So when I found this bright, geometric Baublebar Triad necklace for $28 I just had to share it. It's the perfect statement necklace for summer. The best part? It comes in four swoon-worthy colors.

Have fun choosing the one that's most "you"!

Pastel or Neon?

Both photos from the ingenious Blair Eadie. Pastels: Asos rings and bracelets.  Neons: Lauren Elan Misel bracelets

My last "versus" post, here, on thick vs. thin rings got such great feedback that I've decided to start a regular series of "this or that" posts. You can weigh in on which you prefer, what you wear more of, or what you wish you could wear more of!

So this week, the million dollar question is, if you could only choose neon accessories or pastel accessories this spring, which would you choose?
