What to Wear: Baby Shower

Spring is in the air and that usually means showers abound - baby or bridal! I've had baby showers on the brain as I've been lucky enough to have a few weekends in a row celebrating our upcoming baby with friends and family.

I think pretty, feminine jewelry is a must for showers. If you're the bride-to-be or momma-in-waiting, now is the time to look for pretty, girly jewelry. I love these two pieces below. The Vale Corset ring is high up on my wish list. It's edgy enough with its modern design and the delicate diamonds running down the centre soften its look. The Club Monaco necklace is new to stores and its rhinestones and opal details makes for the perfect shower bling.

Here is my dream baby shower outfit!

Trend Spotting: Neon + Rhinestone Necklaces

This look is classic meets trendy; colorful meets demure; and ladylike meets street-style. The trend I am talking about is taking the classic rhinestone necklace and adding in bright pops of neon color. This trend has been popping up in many of my favorite stores and offers a fun and modern way to incorporate fancy rhinestones into your day-to-day style. From Tom Binns and Shourouk to American Eagle and Club Monaco, there is a neon rhinestone necklace out there for everyone!

Some of my favorites below!

5. Adia Kibur, Short Neon Stone Necklace
8. Club Monaco, Poppy Crystal Necklace

Warm Up with Leather Gloves

I went away skiing this past weekend and my Mom lost her leather gloves during dinner at an Italian restaurant. It was quite the mystery, let me assure you. It got me thinking about replacements and once I started doing a little online reconnaissance, I was happy to see that a ton of gloves are on sale at this time of year! Why not stock up while the prices are right? You never know where a glove thief may be lurking.
