DIY Friday: Great Gatsby Inspired Bracelet

I whipped up this retro little number after re-reading my Great Gatsby jewelry post.  I ordered a bunch of these pretty little rhinestone connectors and couldn't wait to start putting them to use. I decided to use the pink and gold gems with a double strand of gold chain on each side. To complete the Gatsby look, I added a gold chain tassel in the middle of the bracelet. The result is a fun, feminine, and totally flapper appropriate bracelet. Now if only we could still have parties like Gatsby's...

Colour Moment: Emerald Green and Gold

Emerald is Pantone's colour of the year for 2013. Celebrity Jewelry Style: Jennifer Aniston

Jennifer Aniston has the classic west coast laid back look down.  With her tousled tresses, perfectly fitted jeans, and killer bod, it would be hard for her to look bad, even if she tried.  She keeps things simple sticking with neutral colors, tried and true silhouettes, and highlighted hair that is the envy of blondes everywhere.  Hollywood's Golden Girl also has a thing for gold.  She chooses dainty necklaces and gold bangles for daytime and chandelier earrings for the red carpet.
